THE LH LUXE BEAUTY AWARDS, HONORS the BEST in the BEAUTY INDUSTRY & LH LUXE COSMETICS CELEBRATES THEIR 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
On Sunday March 12, 2023, The Savvy Event Guru had the pleasure of attending the LH LUXE BEAUTY AWARDS Event in Washington, DC. The "Who's Who" in the Beauty Industry attended this lovely event.
Congratulations were in order for LH LUXE Cosmetics, as they celebrated their 2nd year anniversary.
LH LUXE Cosmetics is a Cosmetics company that caters to both men and women; with their LH for men, their Pro-kits, make-up and skin care items for women.
Their mission is to "Make a Luxury Lifestyle possible for All". "We believe in confidence." "We believe you are worthy." "We believe self care and health are essential." LH LUXE cosmetics has a "How Skin Care plan" to include morning rituals, beauty supplements and more. LH LUXE Cosmetics is a one stop shop for both skin care and make-up! LH LUXE COSMETICS
The Event:
The LH LUXE BEAUTY AWARDS and BRAND MODEL Competition Brunch Gala, took place at the Josephine Butler Parks Center in Washington DC on Sunday March 12, 2023. Doors opened at 1pm for this event and doors closed at 5pm.
The Hosts for this event included CEO, Celebrity, International Model and Actress Leela Heart, International Event Liaison Director Tracye Snow, Nathaly Diaz, Erinn Waters and Felipe Vasquez.
The Venue:
The Josephine Butler Parks Center venue is a beautiful revived mansion nestled in the heart of the Meridian Hill Neighborhood in Washington DC, near the Columbia Heights area. This venue is a very versatile location offering multiple spaces to be used throughout. The multi-level floors and multiple rooms in this venue allow for a diverse group of events to go on, simultaneously. This venue has been used in the past for weddings, bridal shows, fundraiser events and now awards shows.

This venue was PERFECT for this type of event and all that was offered to the guests. Guests had the freedom to maneuver from vendor space to Runway space for the event, due to the size and flow of the space.
This event had a little of everything for everyone! As you entered the first floor of the space to your left and to your right you would find jewelry vendors, clothing vendors, health care vendors and more. Some of the vendors at this event included, Lita & Co., Icon Line Design, Millie's International Creations, Tempting Treasurezz By Jannice Bray, LIL BIT OF POSH, Ultimate Don's and Divas Modeling Agency, Only 1 of A Kind Boutique and TRICEYS DC, who provided the food, which was amazing! Of course an event can not be complete without a 360 Camera and a photo booth which were both on site as well!

On the second floor, guests were greeted with more vendors and guests could take their seats in the main room, near the stage where the beauty award show would take place.
With any fashion show, the photo pit is important. Show producers genuinely want a variety of photos from a variety of different sources at their event and this show was no different!
At the "Head" of the Runway all photographers were staged and ready to shoot. The runway was lined with a RED Carpet and gold chiavari chairs line the aisle on both sides.

The Awards and Model Competition segment began with a Fashion Show of the Brand Models for the LH LUXE Cosmetics brand.

After the beauty fashion show segment, all vendors gave a little introduction on what products and services they offered and what would be offered at the event. The guests, were then serenaded by songstress Ni'rel Victoria who gave 2 songs selections.
After the songs and entertainment, it was time for the winners and awards to be announced! There were several categories to include the Face of the LH LUXE Brand Cosmetics and LH Men", "Best OverAll Make-up Artist", "Best Beauty Magazine", "Best Modeling Agency", "Designer of the Year", "Best Men Designer", "Best Esthetician", "Best Print Model" and more!

Some of the winners of the awards were Designer of the Year, Mr. Malcolm Staples, Best Modeling Agency, winner Ultimate Dons and Divas Modeling Agency.

Winner for Best Wardrobe stylist was David Hinten, Best Glam Make-up award went to Gigi and of course there was the Face of the LH LUXE Brand Cosmetics and LH Men and the winner was model Nicole for the Face of the LH LUXE Brand and Peter for LH Men.
This beauty award show was amazingly put together. There was a little of everything, fashion, shopping, vendors, entertainment and so much more. The entertainment was exceptional, the guests were phenomenal and my experience at this event, can be described as one that was felt with excitement and great anticipation; and I felt that the show hosts, showed a great amount of care for the guests, which is not always the case for some show host and show producers. I believe that the way that a person is made to feel at an event can also add to their over all experience at the event.
As a 17 year vet in the event planning industry and as someone who has produced her own show events in the past, I can say that the amount of care that went into planning this event was shown and no detail was left un-touched.
